UK Environmental & Service Directory - Legal / Environmental Law

Environmental law is complex and involves treaties, conventions, statutes, regulations, and common law that, very broadly, operate to regulate the interaction of humanity with the rest of the natural environment. Environmental law's main purpose is to reduce the impacts of human activity, both on the natural environment and on humanity itself. The topic may be divided into two major subject areas, namely pollution control and remediation and that of resource conservation and management.
